Çiçek Pasajı
The most beautiful, the most famous passage of Istanbul, with the most pubs and bars. In 1876, it was opened under the name Cité de Pera and was nothing but an ordinary roofed line of shops, where the genteel ladies of Beyoğlu bought French fashion. The name Çiçek Pasai, flower passage, came up after the First World War, when impoverished Russian aristocrats opened flower shops here.
